He previously served as the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Crawford, Texas. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a Master of Divinity in Theology from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. He also earned the Doctor of Ministry from Truett Seminary.  His culminating project was titled, “Acts 13:1–3 As Normative Praxis in the Local Baptist Church: A Connection Between Mission and Vocation.”
