God's Message in the Old Testament - Digital Teaching Guide

This study will provide a survey of the Old Testament by using the categories that the Jewish people—and Jesus himself—used in describing the Old Testament. Jesus spoke of “the law and the prophets” (see Matthew 5:17; 7:12; 22:40; Luke 16:16; see also John 1:45; Acts 13:15; Romans 3:21).What did Jesus mean by this description? He was referring to the portions of sacred Scripture that his fellow Jews knew by those names.
